Member Spotlight

We  live very close to each other, and at the same time we relish the solitude of the river and the sanctity of our homes. We see each other on the docks, and for the most part all get along. However, unless we choose to develop a closer relationship with a neighbor, we don't really get to know the spirit and the passion of the other person. The intent of this page is for members to share a bit of themselves - their story , their talents so we all get to see our neighbors in  a different light. ​​​Hi,  Richard your neighbor here at the Portland Riviera, commonly called JBMI.  This evening, for your dining delight we have UBER FRESH Crawfish Boil, with my super duper, right from the Bayou ( seriously ) recipe.  But here’s the BEST PART … YOU, yes YOU can make this too becuase I would be OH SO HAPPY to share the recipe.  OH ~~~ But where does one find such appetizing crawfish you might ask?  Well these din din delights are RIGHT UNDER YOUR NOSE.  Literally.  They live right under your house, you deck, your dock or swim float.  If you’d like me to show you how ridiculously easy it is to catch tons of these “mudbugs, just say so and it’ll be done.  Bon Appetite.  

PS, I’ve owned three restaurants in my past life just because I love LOVE to cook.  Making magic happen in the kitchen is my passion.  Aside from the restaurant biz, I have been a magazine feature photographer for decades.  I LOVE travel and I go on the drop of a hat. or a credit card.  Any where, Any time.  Its where I find the BEST ethnic recipes !
